Update – Cobourg Police – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle

A pedestrian sustained injuries following a collision on Saturday evening.

On February 28, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., police responded to a collision at King Street West and Forth Street in Cobourg. A pedestrian was crossing the road when they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital and transferred by ground to a Toronto-area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No charges have been laid at this time.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call the police at 905-372-6821.
