Video – Camera Captures Person Checking Vehicles in Cobourg

In Police Blotter

It’s unknown if there were any items stolen, but a RING camera captured at least one person checking vehicles in Cobourg early Saturday morning.

On Saturday, January 18, 2026 a RING camera captured a suspect checking vehicles along Ewing Street in Cobourg’s west end around 2:30 a.m.

The person can be seen wiping away the snow from the window before using a flashlight to look inside for any valuables.

After spotting none, the person carried on further down the street.

Another person can be seen in the video walking along the opposite side of the street, but it’s unknown if they were together.

Cobourg Police have not released any information regarding the incident.
