Cobourg Police – Warkworth Woman Charged with Impaired (No Name Released)

A 32-year-old Warkworth woman is facing impaired charges after a traffic stop in Cobourg.

On January 3, 2026, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on DePalma Drive in the Town of Cobourg after a vehicle failed to stop at a red light. Police made a mandatory alcohol screening demand to check the driver’s sobriety. The driver failed an Approved Screening Device test.

As a result, the driver, a 32-year-old Warkworth woman, was arrested and charged with operation while impaired-blood concentration over 80mg. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
