Peterborough Police – Warrant Arrests (No Names Released)

Two people wanted on warrants were located and taken into custody Tuesday.

At approximately 1:30pm on December 16, 2025, officers with the Community F.I.R.S.T Unit were on general patrol in the Monaghan Road and Romaine Street area when they spotted a woman wanted on warrants in a vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

As a result, a 41-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested on the strength of the warrants for obstruct peace officer, fail to comply with appearance notice and failure to attend court after having appeared.

The woman is being held in custody and will appear in court today, December 17, 2025.

At approximately 3:30pm on December 16, 2025, officers with the Community F.I.R.S.T Unit were on general patrol in the area of Wolfe Street and Park Street when they saw a man in the snow.  They went to check on him and realized he was wanted on warrants for break and enter, fail to comply with probation and failing to comply with an appearance notice.

As a result, a 25-year-old Peterborough man was arrested on the strength of the warrants.

He is being held in custody and will appear in court today.
