Belleville Police – Drug Arrest (Name Released)

Drug Arrest
On November 18th at 2:48am, Belleville Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the city’s west end. During the stop, officers identified the passenger as a male who was wanted on outstanding Belleville Police Service warrant.
Officers arrested the male on the strength of the warrant.
Upon further investigation, officers seized:
· 2 cellphones
· $121.00 CAD currency
· 20.8 grams of cocaine
· .3 grams of crack-cocaine

As a result, Travis Todhunter, a 44-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was additionally charged with:
· Failure to comply with a probation order
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
· Possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine
· Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine

He was held for a bail hearing.
