On October 22nd 2025, as a result of a Drug Trafficking investigation in the City of Belleville; members of Belleville Intelligence/Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs Substance Act Warrant in a local motel with the assistance of the Belleville Police K9 and Emergency Response Unit.
Police Seized:
· 1.7 grams Fentanyl
· 8.8 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
· 61 mg of an unknown substance
· Brass Knuckles
· Pepper Spray
· Replica handgun
· $1831.00 Canadian currency
As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:
Sean Macdonald, 26-year-old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 – Sec 354(1)(a) CC
· Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon – Brass Knuckles – Sec 91(2) CC
· Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon – Pepper Spray – Sec 91(2) CC
· Fail to Comply with Release Order – Sec 145(5)(a) CC
Jessica Abbott, 32-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
