Port Hope Police – Port Hope Woman Charged with Impaired Driving (Name Released)

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Port Hope Police Service received a call regarding a possible impaired driver.

Police located and spoke with the driver, identified as 42-year-old Christina Thomas of Port Hope.

Officers observed signs of impairment, and Thomas was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

Thomas was later released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date. Her vehicle was impounded, and her driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days.

The Port Hope Police Service reminds the public that impaired driving is a serious offence that puts lives at risk. Anyone who suspects an impaired driver is encouraged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
