Port Hope Police – Elderly Man Arrested After Indecent Act

On July 16, 2025, members of the Port Hope Police Service responded to a call for service at East Beach in Port Hope regarding a report of suspicious activity.

As a result of the investigation, officers arrested a 71-year-old male in connection with an indecent act. The investigation remains ongoing.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity at East Beach on July 16, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., to please come forward.
