Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Assault, Utter Threats, Fail to Comply x3 (No Name Released)

A 47-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police called to a family dispute on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Cobourg Police attended a family dispute downtown Cobourg. Through
investigation, it was learned that a man had assaulted and threatened his father. Police subsequently located the suspect in a nearby parking lot. The victim sustained minor injuries.

As a result, a 47-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with assault, utter threats to cause death, and three counts of fail to comply with probation.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
