Video – Cobourg Police Looking for Suspect Who Threw Rocks at Window

Cobourg Police have confirmed they are investigating after rocks were thrown at a second story window.

Video of a suspect was posted on social media showing the person throwing rocks at a second storey window on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the area of Buck Street and Division Street.

The post stated that there was a Pride flag in the window and stated it was a hate crime.

“At one point (the suspect) threw a rock at my friend as she attempted to close the window during the attack.”

“This attack was completely unprovoked and this man is not known to the victim.”

On Friday, Cobourg Police confirmed they are investigating and ask the public if anyone has any information to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
