Quinte West OPP – Quinte West Man Charged with Drug Trafficking (Name Released)

One individual has been arrested after a drug investigation by the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) in the Quinte West area.

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region CSCU, assisted by Quinte West OPP officers, stopped an individual, after conducting an investigation regarding about drug trafficking in Trenton.

As a result of the investigation, one person was arrested. Officers se ized approximately one ounce of Fentanyl, Canadian currency and other items associated with drug trafficking.

Brian CALLADINE, age 47 from Quinte West, has been charged with:

  • Possession of the purpose of trafficking- Fentanyl
  • Traffic in schedule I substance – Fentanyl
  • Proceeds of crime

The accused remains in custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, on a later date.
