Peterborough County OPP – Looking for Assistance Regarding Stolen Boat

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for assistance in locating a boat, motor and trailer taken from a residence on Round Lake.

On Thursday April 3, 2025, a call was placed to the Peterborough County OPP regarding a stolen boat.

The complainant, who is also the owner of the boat advised that his 2023 Yamaha 18-foot bass boat had been taken from his property on Round Lake Road some time between Thursday March 27, 2025, and Thursday April 3, 2025. The boat was equipped with a 2023 Yamaha F90 outboard motor (grey in colour) and w as on a 2023 Load Rite trailer (silver in colour).

An attached stock photo shows the same boat in the same colour although motor and trailer may look different.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect(s) involved in this theft. Police urge the public to call in tips on this case, or others, to the Peterborough OPP at 705-742-0401, the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to Crime Stoppers.
