Video – Transport Truck Rolls Into Ditch on Highway 401 West of Cobourg

There were no injuries after transport flipped over on Highway 401 west of Cobourg on Monday, March 17, 2024.

Shortly before 5 p.m., emergency services were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Highway 401 approximately two kilometres west of Burnham Street after a transport truck carrying crushed vehicles flipped on its side.

The driver was not injured in the rollover, but clean-up was expected to take a number of hours.

The area of the collision has been the scene of numerous transports and vehicles that have gone into the ditch.

No word on charges.
