Cobourg Cougars Trail OJHL Playoff Series 2-0

In Hockey
The Cobourg Cougars are down two games to none in their Ontario Junior Hockey League opening round playoff series following a 5-1 loss to the visiting Toronto Jr. Canadiens on Monday night.
Ervie Terwilliger scored the lone Cobourg goal late in the third with Toronto already leading by five at the time.
It was a penalty-filled contest including a number of fights and misconducts that resulted in Toronto going 2-for-12 on power-play opportunities while the Cougars were 0-for-3.
The Jr. Canadiens won the series opener 3-2 Saturday and host Game 3 Wednesday night back in Toronto.
Game 4 of the best-of-seven is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Cobourg.
