Belleville Police – Deseronto Woman Charged with Impaired (Name Released)

On 19 January, 2025, at 3:00am, an officer on patrol observed a vehicle on North Front Street being operated in an erratic manner.

A vehicle stop was conducted and an investigation began as to the sobriety of the driver.

The female driver exhibited severe signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

An open bottle of liquor was located in the vehicle and the driver was found to be unlicensed.

The driver provided breath samples two and a half times over the legal limit.

The driver was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, operation with over 80 milligrams, driving with an open container of liquor, and drive a motor vehicle with no license.

Alexandra UFKES, 31, of Deseronto was released on an undertaking with a court date on 27 February, 2025
