Cobourg Police – Roseneath Woman Charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Fentanyl (Name Released)

A 37-year-old Roseneath woman is facing charges after police were called to a suspicious vehicle Saturday morning.

On Saturday, January 4, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m., police were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on Elgin Street East in the Town of Cobourg.

Police located a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway. As a result of the police investigation, the
driver, Jamee Lin Ward (37) of Roseneath, was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a
Schedule I Substance (Cocaine and Fentanyl) for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property
Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

The accused was held for bail.
