Belleville Police Service – Incidents Include Breach of Probation, Breach of Conditions

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 46 calls for service between 5:00 am on December 30, 2024 to 5:00 am on December 31, 2024.

Breach of probation
On 30 December, 2024 shortly before 10:00pm, Belleville Police were called to an east end address for a report of a breach of probation. Upon arrival, police spoke to a female that informed them that her ex had contacted her and breached his probation order. Through investigation Police further learned that the male was wanted on two warrants for a total of nine previous breach of probation charges. The 42-year-old Belleville male was located by police in the area and was arrested. He was held for a bail hearing on 31 December, 2024.

Breach of conditions
On 31 December, 2024 shortly after midnight, Belleville Police were called to an east end address for reports of a domestic dispute. Police learned through investigation that there had been previous domestic disputes at that address and a male associated to that address was on conditions not to communicate with a female who resides there stemming from a previous domestic related charge. Upon arrival, police learned that the male was breaching the conditions of his undertaking. The 35-year-old male of Belleville was arrested and held for a bail hearing on 31 December 2024.
