Northumberland OPP – Trenton Man Charged with Assault (Name Released)

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested an individual following a report of an assault.

On July 15, 2024, police received a complaint regarding an assault that took place the previous evening at a location on Alice Street. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) also attended at the same time as officers and the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, officers arrested an individual on November 21, 2024.

Ryan POCKNELL, 38-years-old, from Trenton, has been charged with:

  • Assault causing bodily harm.

The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
