Cobourg Police – Shoplifting Arrest (No Name Released)

A Cobourg woman is facing charges following a theft on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at approximately 5:00 pm, police were dispatched to a business on Strathy Road in the Town of Cobourg.

It was reported that a woman entered a store, selected several items of merchandise and then departed the establishment, making no attempt to pay. Police located the woman in the area.

As a result of the investigation, the 32-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with Theft Under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

The woman was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
