Cobourg Police – Domestic Assault

A 22-year-old Oshawa man is facing an intimate-partner-related charge following an incident Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at approximately 10:00 am, police were dispatched to a disturbance outside a residence in the east end of Cobourg.

While engaged in a verbal dispute, a male physically assaulted his partner. No physical injuries were reported.

As a result of the police investigation, the 22-year-old Oshawa man was arrested and charged with

Assault – Spousal.

The man was later released from custody on an Undertaking with a future court date.
