Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Causing Disturbance (No Name Released)

A 33-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police responded to a disturbance downtown Cobourg on Monday afternoon.

On Monday, October 28, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the area of King Street and Spring Street in Cobourg in response to a report of a disturbance.

It was reported to police that a man approached a vehicle in the parking lot, yelled, punched and kicked the vehicle. The man then entered the store, knocking over displays.

As a result of the police investigation, a 33-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
