Video – Vehicle Collides with Hydro Pole in Cobourg

It appears there were no serious injuries after a vehicle collided with a hydro pole in Cobourg on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

Emergency services responded shortly after 3 p.m. after a vehicle traveling eastbound on King Street West, just west of Burnham Street collided with a hydro pole on the north side of the road.

The passenger side of the vehicle was heavily damaged by the collision.

Today’s Northumberland reached out to Cobourg Police for details on injuries and charges, but are awaiting a response.

It’s expected a replacement for the hydro pole will take place on Wednesday, but crews stated they would be leaving a truck in place overnight to stabilize the pole.
