Video – Emergency Services Respond to Single Vehicle Collision in Cobourg

One person was taken to hospital following a single vehicle collision in Cobourg on Friday, October 18, 2024.

At approximately 4 p.m. emergency services were called to University Avenue West after a single vehicle collision.

A vehicle was traveling eastbound on University Avenue West when it mounted the curb on the north side of the street at Victoria Street.  The vehicle continued along the northside of the street along the sidewalk before hitting a few shrubs, then re-entering the roadway and striking a home on the south side of the street near Ball Street.

One person was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation.
