Cobourg Police – Brighton Man Charged with Impaired (No Name Released)

A 44-year-old Brighton man was charged with impaired after police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 11:59 am, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Elgin Street West and William Street in the Town of Cobourg. A driver, the 44-year-old Brighton man, was arrested on scene and charged with Operation Impaired – drugs. No injuries were reported.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
