Another Trip on Lake Ontario for the Canada Steamship Lines Tadoussac

In News

The Canada Steamship Lines Tadoussac can regularly be seen on Lake Ontario traveling from Ogden Point Quarry in Colborne to a Mississauga cement plant.

The self-unloading bulk carrier,  carries 18,000 tonnes per trip to Mississauga which turns the limestone into powder.

Some days due to strong winds the Tadoussac has to stay out on the lake because it’s to rough to dock at the Quarry in Colborne.

On March 20, 2007 the CSL Tadoussac was the featured vessel at the official opening of the Welland canal for the 2007 season.

The ship is 738 feet long and was built in 1969.
