Cobourg Police – Female Arrested for Domestic Assault (No Name Released)

On the 9th of October 2024 at 8:04pm officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance outside a downtown restaurant where a male and female had been observed in a physical disturbance.

Upon arrival, police located both individuals and through investigation it was learned that the female had assaulted the male during the argument.

As a result, a 47-year-old female from Toronto was arrested and charged with the following:

1) Assault (Spousal) contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code

The female was later released from custody on an Undertaking with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice.
