Quinte West OPP – Fatal Collision Involving Two Vehicles

One driver has died, and one driver transported to hospital, following a serious collision in Quinte West on Wednesday night

On the 9th of October 2024, officers with the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision at 8:35 p.m. on County Road 40. Both involved drivers were transported to hospital by ambulance. One driver has been confirmed deceased at Hospital.

County Road 40, between Highway 2 and Telephone Road will be closed for investigative purposes. Members of the Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Unit will be attending the scene to continue the investigation.
