Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Assault (No Name Released)

A 49-year-old woman has been charged after being involved in an altercation.

On Friday, September 27, 2024, at approximately 6:00 pm, Cobourg Police responded to a report of an assault in progress in the vicinity of Victoria Park. Upon arriving on scene, police located the involved individuals and learned that a woman had slapped another woman across the face after a verbal confrontation. No physical injuries were reported.

As the result of the police investigation, a 49-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with assault.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
