Person Riding Bicycle on Highway 401 Attracts Attention

A Cobourg man was shocked when he spotted a person riding a bicycle on the shoulder of Highway 401 on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

The Cobourg man said he was on his way home from work when he was shocked to see the person riding on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 west Wesleyville.

The person notified Northumberland OPP, but it’s unknown if officers spoke with the individual.
