Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Possession of Cocaine (No Name Released)

A 42-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police were called to a local business to check his well-being.

On Thursday, July 18, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a business in the northwest end of Cobourg. Officers were requested to check on the well-being of a male who was reportedly observed sleeping in his vehicle. Officers arrived in the area and spoke with the man, who was observed to be in possession of a suspected cocaine.

As a result of the police investigation, the 42-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with – Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance.

The accused was released on the strength of an undertaking with a future court date in August 2024.
