Northumberland OPP Investigating Fatal Fire in Cramahe Township

The Northumberland Crime Unit is investigating a structure fire in Cramahe Township.

On June 2, 2024, at approximately 3:40 a.m., the OPP received a call from Cramahe Township Fire requesting assistance with a fully engulfed structure fire of a residence on Blyth Park Road.

Unfortunately, one individual was confirmed deceased in the residence.

The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation with assistance from the Ontario Fire Marshal ( OFM) and the Office of the Chief Coroner. Officers will continue to hold the scene for the ongoing investigation.
