Durham Regional Police – Man Charged for Sexual Assaults While Working at Restaurant in Oshawa

A male previously employed as the manager of a restaurant in Oshawa is facing multiple sexual assault charges.

 In March of 2024, an investigation was initiated after two victims reported being sexually assaulted at their place of work. The male suspect, known as “Ram,” worked as a manager at the restaurant One Eyed Jack’s, located at 33 Taunton Road West. The male no longer works at this restaurant but may be working at other restaurants in the Greater Toronto and the New Hamburg/Kitchener area.

 Jeyaraam SIVAGNANASUNDARAM, age 38 from Oshawa is charged with: Sexual Assault x3, and Sexual Exploitation x2.

 Anyone with information about this or similar incidents is asked to contact the Special Victims Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5318.

 Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
