Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Assaulting Media (No Name Released)

At approximately 9:30 am, on Tuesday the 7th day of May 2024, Officers were requested to attend the area of King Street East at Brook Road North in the Town of Cobourg for a report of an assault. Police Investigation determined that after a brief verbal altercation the accused struck the victim, took his glasses and threw them.

The victim was not injured.

As a result of subsequent Police investigation, a 41-year-old female resident of Cobourg was arrested and transported the station. She was charged with assault and released to a future court date in June of 2024.
