It was the end of the Cobourg Cougars season on Sunday, April 14, 2024 and the Trenton Golden Hawks took the series in Ontario Junior Hockey League action at the Cobourg Community Centre.
The Golden Hawks scored one goal in the first period and two in the second.
The Cougars only goal of the game was by Jordan Fuller with assists by Andy Reist on the power play.
Over 1,600 people were in attendance for the game.
Trenton took the series to win the best of seven and taking the East Conference final four games to two for the Cougars.
