Northumberland OPP – Cramahe Township Woman Charged with Trafficking Cocaine (Name Released)

On February 24, 2024, at approximately 5:25 a.m., officers from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding a person causing a disturbance at a commercial property on King Street East in the Township of Cramahe.

Upon locating the individual, officers were led into a drugs investigation as 427 grams of suspected Cocaine was seized.

As a result the investigation, OPP arrested a person on April 9, 2024.

Tara TURK, 38-years-old, from Colborne, has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

The total street value of the seized drugs is worth approximately $42,700.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
