A male is in custody following an investigation into the sexual luring of a 14-year-old female.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, members of the DRPS Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) arrested an adult male after an investigation into the luring of a 14-year-old female through Facebook messenger.
An analysis of the suspect’s phone confirmed that between February and March of 2024, the suspect requested sexually explicit photos and inappropriate physical contact from the youth. Further investigation revealed the possibility of other victims.
Jordan HILL, age 33 from Whitby is charged with numerous offences including: Luring a Child Under 16 to Possess Child Pornography, Luring a Child Under 16 for Sexual Interference, Luring a Child Under 16 to Make Child Pornography, Possess Child Pornography, and Make Available Sexually Explicit Material to Person Under 16.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Police have concerns there may be other victims and are requesting anyone with information to come forward to investigators.
