Emergency Special Cobourg Council Meeting

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform the community that an Emergency Special Meeting of Council will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 2 p.m.

In accordance with section 239 of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001 Council will meet in Closed Session to discuss items regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees (s. 239 (2) (b)).

Please be advised that pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law an Emergency Meeting has been called of Cobourg Municipal Council scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. for the purposes of meeting in Closed Session. The Public will see a Closed Session screen on the livestream of the Emergency Meeting indicating Council is in Closed Session.
