Update – Belleville Police – Armed Robbery at Credit Union (Images Released)

Members of the Belleville Police Service’s Criminal Investigative Division continue to investigate the bank robbery which occurred at the Alterna Credit Union on the 16th of March.

Police are releasing the below images of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.

Original release sent March 16, 2024 at 6:16 p.m.

Belleville Police are continuing an investigation into the armed robbery of a financial institution on Sidney Street earlier today (Saturday March 16, 2024).

The incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. at the Alterna Credit Union branch located at 293 Sidney St. in Belleville.

No injuries were reported.

The matter is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Belleville Police Service with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit. At this time, the location has been closed as members of the FIS team process the scene.

Updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
