Belleville Police Service – Incidents Include Stolen Vehicle and Cocaine, Crystal Meth, Firearm Arrests (Names Released)

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 71 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on March 18, 2024 to 5:00 am on March 19, 2024.

Stolen Vehicle
On the 18th of March at 3:00pm, Belleville Police received a call regarding a stolen vehicle which had been stolen from a residence in Plainfield. The owner advised that the vehicle was stolen from their driveway sometime between 10:00am and 3:00pm. The stolen vehicle is a grey 2009 Ford Ranger with Ontario licence plate XM8 754. Project RENEWAL
Drug (Cocaine- Crystal Methamphetamine – Firearm) Arrest

On the 18th of March, as a result of a drug trafficking investigation in the city of Belleville, members of Project Renewal, the Belleville Emergency Response Unit and K9 Team executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Everett Street.

Police located and seized the following items:
· 75.6 grams Cocaine
· 32.2 grams Crystal Methamphetamine
· 5 Oxycodone Pills
· $3181 Canadian Currency
· $10 US Currency
· Digital Scales
· A loaded 45 caliber Ruger hand gun
· Packaging materials
· 4 cell phones

As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged the following persons:
Jacob O’Neil, 22 years old of Oshawa was charged with:
· Carrying Concealed Weapon – Sec. 90 CC
· Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Sec. 91(1) CC
· Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Sec 92(1) CC
· Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm – Sec 95(a)
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(b) CC

O’Neil was held for bail.

Amanda Loveless, 37 years old of Belleville was charged with:

· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(b) CC

Loveless was held for bail.

Sabrina Tremblay, 35 years old of Belleville was charged with:

· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(b) CC

Tremblay was held for bail.

 

Brian Ribble, 50 years old of Belleville was charged with:

· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(b) CC

Released on an Undertaking with a court date in April.

Stephanie Maracle, 32 years old of Belleville was charged with:

· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(b) CC

Released on an Undertaking with a court date in April.
