Peterborough Police – Peterborough Woman Facing Charges After Arrest (No Name Given)

A 34-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after two incidents Monday evening.

At approximately 5:30pm on March 4, 2024, officers received a call about a man and a woman in a dispute at a park on Ashburnham Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned that the man had been punched, kicked and struck in the face during the dispute before the woman left the area.  While officers were investigating, a second call came in about an unknown woman attempting to get into a nearby residence, yelling verbal threats and smashing a window.   Officers arrived and took a woman into custody.

As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon – spouse
  • Assault – spouse
  • Utter threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
  • Mischief Under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with probation order X2

The accused is currently bound a probation order with the following condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, March 5, 2024.
