Cobourg Police – 74-Year-Old Woman Charged with Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats, Unlawfully Dwelling (No Name Released)

A 74-year-old Cobourg female faces charges after a police investigation into uttering threats.

On Thursday, February 15th, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Police commenced an investigation into a dispute between two individuals which escalated to the suspect holding an object to the victim’s neck while uttering a death threat.

As a result of Police investigation, a 74-year-old female resident of Cobourg was arrested and charged withassault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death, and unlawfully in a dwelling.

The accused was held for a bail hearing later today.
