Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Assault, Three Counts of Fail to Comply with Probation

A 55-year-old Cobourg man faces charges after a police investigation into a domestic assault.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers were called to attend an address in the east end of Cobourg for a report of a domestic assault. The victim sustained minor injuries.

As a result of police investigation, a 55-year-old male resident of Cobourg was arrested and charged with (spousal) Assault and three counts of fail to comply with probation.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
