Peterborough Police – Peterborough Woman Charged with Assault, Utter Threats (No Name Released)

A 32-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident Monday afternoon.

At approximately 12:50pm on February 13, 2024, officers were called to the area of Perry Street and George Street about a disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect had approached another woman, punched her and then verbally threatened her when police were called. Officers located the suspect at a nearby residence and took her into custody without incident.

As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault
  • Utter Threats

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court March 5, 2024.
