Northumberland OPP – Driver Charged After Tractor Trailer Collides with Bridge (Name Released)

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged a commercial motor vehicle driver following a report from the public.

On December 20, 2023, shortly before 8:00 a.m., members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on Boes Road in Brighton involving a commercial motor vehicle and a bridge.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision and the road was not closed. CN Rail has been notified.

Dilpreet SINGH, 28-years-old, from Scarborough has been charged with:

–      Careless Driving

–      Fail to report accident

–      Disobey sign

–      Fail to accurately complete daily inspection report.
