Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Resisting Arrest, 2x Fraud, 2x Possession of Stolen Property and 4x Drug Possession (No Name Released)

A 22-year-old Cobourg man is facing fraud and drug possession charges.

On Friday, November 17, 2023, the Cobourg Police Service took a report of a theft of items from a vehicle.

Police identified a suspect. On Saturday, November 18th , officers located and arrested the suspect.

As a result, a 22-year-old Cobourg was charged with resisting arrest, two counts of fraud under $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property as well as four counts of drug possession (Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Benzodiazepine).

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date in December
