Cobourg Police – Criminal Harassment Arrest (Name Released)

A 29-year-old Baltimore resident has been arrested for Criminal Harassment.

On Friday November 17th, 2023, at approximately 11:00 am, the Cobourg Police Service commenced an investigation after a 16-year-old female alleged she had been harassed and followed by an adult male who was known to her. At approximately 9:00 pm, police were advised that this same male had been in a vehicle outside the family’s home but had left when confronted. Officers searched the area and located the male.
29-year-old Michael ORLECK was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Harassment and 2 counts of Fail to Comply with his Probation order.

He was held for a bail hearing.  The investigation is continuing.
