Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death (No Name Released)

A 31-year-old Cobourg man was arrested after threatening the life of a police officer.

On Monday, November 13, 2023, police on proactive patrol downtown Cobourg stopped to address a community member. While speaking with the man, he became confrontational and threatened to kill one of the officers.

As a result, the 31-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with uttering threats to cause death.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date scheduled for December 27, 2023.
