Vintage Film Festival Celebrating 30th Anniversary

In entertainment, Upcoming Events

The Vintage Film Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a weekend of 13 films, free popcorn, and free admission to those 25 years of age or younger.

One of the featured films is “The Wizard of Oz” which will be screened in the very same theatre in which it first appears in 1939 – The Capitol Theatre.

Of course, an iconic film deserves something extra…a Wizard of Oz costume and puppet parade through downtown Port Hope on Friday October 20 with the yellow brick road leading to the entrance of The Capitol Theatre.
