Northumberland OPP – Peterborough Man Charged with Sexual Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats

On October 9, 2023, at 7:41 a.m., members of the Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of assault at a property on Highway 401 in the Municipality of Port Hope.

As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old male from Peterborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Assault – spousal
  • Uttering threats

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on November 22, 2023.
