Port Hope Panthers Come Away with a Tie in Home Opener Against Campbellford Rebels in PJHL Action

The Port Hope Panthers and Campbellford Rebels played to a 2-2 tie in a Provincial Junior Hockey League game Saturday night at the Jack Burger Sports Complex.

Campbellford held the lead twice on goals by Aiden Treverton and Anton Kolluru. Isaac Langdon tied it the first time for Port Hope in the second period and Noah Richard in the third period with 5:24 left to play.
Both teams had a power play in overtime.
Rebels goalie Brayden Friedrich, of Cobourg, made 49 saves in the tie and has made 103 in two games so far this season.
Next Saturday the Panthers host the Amherstview Jets at 7:30 p.m.
